24th of March, this Sunday, De Hav Philharmonic will be performing Deadcall, the first track of my concept album.
It will be after the intermission.
It is such honor to be able to have my piece played by an orchestra and amongst great composers like Stravinsky, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky.
My parents will be coming from Malaysia as well. They are so supportive, I can never express how grateful I am to have them as my parents. I will keep trying to improve and work hard.
I'm working on Traveller Criminal's Japanese translation with Jun for KAITO to sing, been planning for it since a few months ago. I'm happy it's progressing.
I've been asked about my PRIMA song. Unfortunately, the installation CD and all data is back in my home in Malaysia and the laptop died, so I don't think I will be able to make more PRIMA songs in near future. She has a beautiful voice, hitting high notes pretty smoothly, I really like using her as a main singer. The Sacrificial Reborn style really suits her xD I remember showing the song to the Head of Department when I applied into the University, he was impressed by that track.
I will be focusing on polishing my KAITO V3 tuning now. He is my main singer and my most favourite. I feel like my soul heals whenever I hear him sing :D
Kaito as the Angel
In a world with Foul (phantom-like creatures), humans defend themselves by offering things to them. There is also an entity that the Foul are afraid of, the Angels.
Angels are called upon by humans when they pray hard enough. It is also up to the Angel's own will to appear before them as their loyal partner until the day they die. Angels who agreed to guard the humans normally loves them unconditionally. They call their human Beloved.
However, some humans abused this love, and made the Angels do terrible things. And as they do more and more evil, they eventually became something nasty, something even they themselves have no idea of and feared tremendously.

Originally, I was going to make a prequel without the question at the beginning. The song was named Fallen instead, but I received a question in NND that goes like this, "Kaito, are you an angel? or devil?" and that instant I decided to include it in the video and changed the name to an answer.

Kaito V3 and Thoughts
I haven't stopped composing songs for him since I got my hands on him that day.
This is my first attempt, Seed of Devotion.
He sounded muffled in some parts, and some pronunciation is not very clear. I will work to improve on that.
Lyric:

But it burnt my skin unknowingly

Here are some thoughts while I'm tuning him. These are some of the stuff I ran into while doing my current song, Mine for him. He has significantly improved in his English, but there are still blunders.
(Note: I'm using TinyVocaloid3 so there are some inconveniences here and there like linking some pronunciation together) There are some funny things that happen when editing him which I found quite similar to what happened in Vocaloid as well. When he sings something that is open like "car, that, sick," he will suddenly becomes very loud, making bumps in his phrases. I've tried tweaking dynamics, clearness, brightness and breathiness to smoothen it out. Although sometimes, just lowering the volume will do the trick, but it mostly sounds awkward.
I have yet to get a clear voice like what other experienced -Ps can get. I will continue experimenting.
Here's a funny pronunciation I found. "-ted"(tied with other words like fainted or granted) sounds like "tit" or "tid". I'm not sure why he is doing that because "ted" by itself is totally okay. Also it is hard to get him to sing "you" and "are" without them slurring together. If I shorten it too much, the "you" will not sound. I guess I'll need to do it multi-track to fix it. Default "clear" is not so clear, I am still finding alternatives.
And yea, that's what I think so far. I'm still trying to improve on my Vocaloid tuning skills. If you have suggestions, feel free to leave me a message or comment.

I tried to install all 4 voicebanks, but I don't have enough space. so I get English voicebank first because I am working on Seed of Devotion.
His voice is considerably better now. Both in quality and smoothness. Also, using English voicebank is much more convenient to write lyrics and edit. He can pronounce what was impossible in Vocaloid. In short, he exceeded my expectation, and this is only the English voicebank! I can't wait to try out his other three versions. He is well worth the money.

Monster pt.1
Once upon a time, there was a monster.
It had a scary face and a terrifying body
Every living being was terrified, no one was friendly to it
The monster had no one, it cried and cried
It consumed a rabbit

The monster ran into a children's playground
The children played with the monster
It was happy
However, there came a new pet dog
The monster was forgotten
It consumed the dog
and turned into the dog

However, a new child joined the group
The monster was neglected
The monster had no one, it cried and cried
It wiped its tears, and said
"It is okay! I can be the child!"

Kaito
Kaito Append is released! I bought it and is very excited for it to arrive. Kaito Figma is announced to be released as well. I have been waiting for it for so many years and this is such good news.
Recently I have been watching an animation, Monster. It inspired me to write and create a world in my universe.
By the way, it is snake year now. Wish everyone a good and smooth sailing year.
My new year resolution is to create a lot of songs for Kaito to sing :)
