日與夜舞祭~千鳥

A "new" piece is here. It really isn't new in the sense that the composition was about 6 or 7 years old.
A little history about this (you can skip this and get to the music, as per usual).
6-7 years ago(2004-2005), there was a period of time when I was crazy about the electone (that time I had an EL500) rhythm box. I have a handful of short compositions mainly focused around the percussion. And yes, it was all for my character's story/theme (ooh, brings back memories of my novel writing days lol)
This piece, Chidori, a.k.a Thousands of Birds was born in that period. It was quite a simple and short little piece. Later, when I wanted to let my friends listen about it, I realised they have no electone. So, I ended up arranging it into a piano piece. Yes, it was still pretty simple then. However, as years pass, I began extending the composition, and it was inconsistent. Every time I play it, the middle section will always be different. Well, you can say I sort of improvised them and trying out different mood and range.
Year 2011. I guess after playing it for so many years, the piece began to take shape. The composition became more consistent -or I became more consistent :P.  When I got my LogicPro, which also means me leaving to UK to study, the first thing I thought of is arranging this piano arrangement into a multi instrument-orchestral-folk dance-soundtrack-ish arrangement with whatever knowledge I have learned from my mentor this one and a half years.  It is also as a farewell gift to my friends in Malaysia.
And there you go, here is my first piece I have done in LogicPro. I must admit, I am starting to love it.
Oh, Sonar, don't cry, I will still use you ;_;

Moved to UK
Yea, sorry I haven't been really active. I am aware I was gone last month. It was a hectic month of packing, registering, visa stuff, get together with friends, getting academic results, composing, etc.
Now I find myself studying in University of Hertfordshire.
Uncertain about which subject to stick to- Music Technology or Music Commercial Composition and Technology?
I would really like to learn in depth about mixing and recording, effects and stuff, but I am also burning with desire to learn more about composing. *runs in circles* What made it hard to decide is they both have little things that are unique to them.
Let me think about it longer... Orz
