Back from a long hiatus

Hello there, it's been a while isn't it? I have to thank G KINE for bringing me back here. Their discipline in keeping a blog motivated me to return to writing for mine as well.
There are other influences as well. Mainly, I finished my university studies and returned to Malaysia, my home country. Now, I am back to create more Vocaloid Kaito songs! I had a feeling of restriction when I was in the UK for some reason, which is also part of the reason why my Vocaloid song production is sparse in the past three years.
This time, I have a few great things to share!
I have an official website!  Which is organized and cleaner than a casual blog like this :)
I have an organised writing website!  Which contains a collection of my character's stories.

And most importantly, I would also like to share my experience with the awesome person that is G KINE. The first time I met them was when they created a PV edit of my song, The Glass Tomb.
The PV is so cool!

The story goes like this... One day, I received a message on Youtube. Curious, I opened it and was blown away by their talent at editing. They really captured the expression and feeling of the song very well. And the meaning of the lyrics were presented both subtly and clearly. There is also a play sample, yes, you can play The Glass Tomb on Project Diva :D Although, the technical things I will have to ask G KINE.

And that is how we established a connection. During mid August 2014, I was in a rather dark mood because of various reasons, this actually gave me a lot of hope and joy. So I thought, I must do a collaboration with them! I had an idea that might interest them, so I contacted them. It was about the story of Zcheste the angel and Dawerent the devil. I showed them the rough draft that is mostly just a piano sketch at that point in time. I was a bit worried that the idea might not come through clearly. Fortunately, they were interested. And so, the collaboration begins.

After that they created another fun PV edit (actually I should call it MV but I am still a little confused between the usage of the two in NND. I will find it out eventually, maybe there is not much difference.) I enjoyed it a lot, and I really appreciate their dedication to create for my songs.

I laughed and smiled watching this ^o^

We continued with the collaboration with a lot of exchange of ideas and brainstorming. I was happy to share the story of my characters to them. They were very patient with me, and I want to thank them for that. The song was completed in December, named Zcheste - Obsession. Then, I let G KINE take the reins from there to create a wonderful video. I gave some suggestions here and there, but the whole video is their work. When I saw the rough draft, I am touched by the details, even small ones from the lyrics. They did an amazing job! <3 I love the feeling of the MV.

If you understand Japanese, they have a written the process of the collaboration as well. You can view it here.

It was a pleasure to work with you, G KINE.
